Adjacent to the Wedgwood
House is the Umpleby House, a circa 1833 Classic Revival
plaster-over-stone manor house, on the National Registry of Historic
Places. Each one of the inn's eight guest accommodations has a distinct
personality. Rooms are graced with fresh-cut flowers all year long and
are hand-painted / stenciled by a New Hope artist. Guest rooms feature
antiques, original art, scented English soaps, plush towels, extra
pillows plus brass ceiling fans, and some have private porches, 2 person
Jacuzzi tubs, and/or fireplaces.

 Days
begin with a complimentary home baked breakfast served on Wedgwood
china, which can be served in our Dining Room (with individual tables),
on our Victorian porch or in the privacy of your own room. Please inform
us at the time you make a reservation if you have a food allergy or
other dietary restrictions. Evenings wind down with a tot of Carl's
secret recipe almond liqueur in the privacy of your own bedroom.

Carriage House Suite (U-10)
This separate two-story cottage, c. 1890, is located in the backyard and
overlooks the verdant Manchester Valley. First floor has 9 windows, a
sitting area with sleeper sofa, a wood-burning fireplace, and a
refrigerator and
microwave, plus a bathroom. There is also a two-person Jacuzzi tub in a
corner nook which overlooks the room. The second floor has one bedroom
with Queen size bed, color cable TV and two French doors leading out to
a large covered porch. Ideal for a couple with one child, or a small dog
(with prior approval).
